Starbucks is giving front-line workers free coffee all December

Starbucks is honoring first responders and health care workers this holiday season for their service in the fight against COVID-19. The coffee chain is by giving them free coffee for the whole month for being on the frontlines of the pandemic.

From Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, front-line workers can receive a hot or iced coffee for free at participating locations around the U.S.

According to, a Starbucks representative said the deal is “to show appreciation for those keeping our communities safe during COVID-19.”

The offer is reportedly available to nurses, doctors, paramedics, hospital workers, pharmacists, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health workers, firefighters, police officers and those who are active in military.

Essential workers have been eligible for other free deals and discounts throughout the year. Krispy Kreme gave out free doughnuts to mail and package carriers on Nov. 30.
