Cops get little boy new e-scooter after brazen Brooklyn robbery

A 6-year-old boy who was robbed of his e-scooter in Brooklyn last week got a special gift from cops for his birthday Tuesday — new wheels.

The tyke received the new Mobius ride along with a helmet as part of a joint effort by the 66th Precinct, NYPD Community Affairs, local leader Yanky Meyer and Yonasan Schwartz, the owner of Toys 2 Discover in Brooklyn.

“[W]e were able to provide the young victim a brand new scooter and helmet for him to enjoy!” the NYPD tweeted, adding that it was the child’s birthday.

The second-grader was left traumatized after a heartless robber pushed him off the scooter Wednesday in Borough Park and zoomed off with it.

The father told The Post at the time that the boy was too shaken to even attend school in the days afterward.

The Post had received more than a dozen offers from people looking to help the boy’s father replace the stolen e-scooter.
